Earlier this year developer Polyphony Digital Inc announced the inclusion of the Mount Panorama Racing Circuit in Gran Turismo 6. The in-game track will mirror its real-life counterpart, spanning 4 miles (6.213 kilometres). Fans will be able to visit the real-life location in Bathurst and walk the internal road during special events.

Gran Turismo series creator Kazunori Yamauchi has also had a street named after him. GTPlanet reports the street was unveiled during the Gran Turismo 6 launch event in Ronda, Spain. Named “Paseo de Kazunori Yamauchi”, it runs around the Parador de Ronda hotel.

Gran Turismo 6 will be released exclusively for the PlayStation 3 worldwide on December 6. Sony currently has no plans to port the game to the PlayStation Vita, although it is considering a version for the PlayStation 4. Earlier today, Sony confirmed the pricing for in-game microtransactions.
