Rockstar North has “some ideas” for a potential follow-up to last month’s Grand Theft Auto V, but won’t be discussing them anytime soon, as Grand Theft Auto Online is the company’s focus right now.
“We’ve got about 45 years worth of ideas we want to do,” Benzies told Develop in a new interview. “We don’t know what GTA VI will be, but we’ve got some ideas. GTA Online is the focus right now.”
In addition to GTA Online, Benzies said Rockstar is working on other content surrounding GTAV.
“Plus, we have some other things–stuff, DLC, I don’t know how to describe it exactly–that we’d like to do, and we’ll pick the right ones,” he said.
GTAV was released last month and generated $800 million in 24 hours and $1 billion in three days.
