Special editions of super-powered open-world PS4 adventure inFamous: Second Son will launch with the Cole’s Legacy DLC, a series of missions designed to bridge the gap between inFamous 2 and its upcoming sequel.
The missions will show new details about how former series protagonist Cole Macgrath triggered a chain of events leading to the occupation of Seattle by the Department of Unified Protection.
The European PlayStation Blog stated that customers won’t be able to purchase the DLC separately “when the game launches,” suggesting that Sony might release it down the line.
The special edition of the game also comes with a beanie hat alongside the Cole’s Legacy DLC. The collector’s edition includes the contents of the special edition as well as a game case designed to look like protagonist Delsin Rowe’s jacket, a collectible coin, a bottle opener, and a set of badges.
inFamous: Second Son is due for release on PlayStation 4 in February 2014.
