Microsoft to release the Xbox One on November 22

Microsoft has announced that the Xbox One will be released on November 22.

The company also confirmed yesterday that the Xbox One’s CPU would be boosted 150MHz to 1.75GHz, and that the next-gen system is in full production ahead of its launch. Microsoft senior director Albert Penello spoke to GameSpot last weekend at PAX about the system, including why the machine was worth the $100 premium over its rival the PlayStation 4.

23 games will be available for Xbox One at launch, including exclusive titles Dead Rising 3, Zoo Tycoon, Ryse: Son of Rome, and Killer Instinct.

The Xbox One will be released in this year in Australia, Austria, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, Spain, United Kingdom, United States, and New Zealand.
