Not much has been shown of PS4 exclusive The Order: 1886 so far, and Sony has released a new trailer for the game that doesn’t show a whole lot either.
The Order: 1886 is a third-person shooter set in what developer Read at Dawn calls neo-Victorian London, an alternate version of the Victorian times, where humans face a battle for survival against mutants known as half-breeds. Leading the fight for the humans are The Order, who now also have to contend with human rebels.
It has been confirmed that the game will not have competitive multiplayer, but there’s no word yet on whether the game will have co-op.
The Order: 1886 will be the first home console game from Ready at Dawn, the studio best known for two stellar God of War games on the PSP – Chains of Olympus and Ghost of Sparta. It is also the studio’s first original IP, for which it is being assisted by Sony Santa Monica.
