Ubisoft is working on a new, next-generation racing franchise, called The Crew.The game is reportedly being developed by French studio Ivory Tower by a team made up of former Eden Games employees. According to reports, it will be targeting the Xbox One and PlayStation 4; no mention has been made if the game will also appear on current-generation consoles.
The studio’s website lists staff with previous game credits spanning Need for Speed, V-Rally, and the Test Drive Unlimited series. Unnamed sources close to the game’s development have claimed the game will be a “realistic title, possibly being positioned against Forza and Gran Turismo”.
