Activision Publishing, Inc. has stormed the gates to bring Torn Banner Studios’ Chivalry: Medieval Warfare to consoles for the first time. After a triumphant crusade on PC, with over two million units sold since its initial release according to Steam, this melee-focused online multiplayer action video game marches digitally onto the Xbox 360 games and entertainment system from Microsoft today.
Armed for fast-paced 12-player conflict, Chivalry: Medieval Warfare pits combatants against one another on the open field of battle across a multitude of solo and squad-based game modes, including Team Deathmatch, Free-for-All, Capture the Flag, Team Objective and more. The title’s responsive combat mechanics are rooted in classical fighting techniques, with an impactful, tactile feel and visceral art design that matches its Old World settings.
There are four unique classes to choose from in Chivalry: Medieval Warfare: the hulking Knight, well-balanced Vanguard, nimble Man-at-Arms and strategically savvy Archer. Warriors can draw from a vast collection of over 60 period-authentic weapons, from mighty longswords and maces to shields, polearms and crossbows, as well as an arsenal of customisable armour choices.
