The future of the Batman Arkham franchise may come into focus next week. The official Batman Arkham Facebook page teased this week that a “special announcement” will be made on December 31–New Year’s Eve.
“Visit this page on December 31st for a special announcement…more details to come next week!,” the company said.
It’s possible this message is teasing the story-focused DLC for Batman: Arkham Origins slated to arrive in 2014. It could also be in reference to the Rocksteady Studios’ rumored next-gen Arkham game, though this appears less likely.
